Postcards From NFR 2012: Brazile's Big Week
It’s that time of year again: The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo is ruling Las Vegas until December 15th, with daily rodeo action, live entertainment, Fanfest 2012, the Cowboy Christmas Gift Show, and much more.
Our chief rodeo correspondent, former Miss Rodeo America and Texas Cowboy Hall of Famer Pam Minick, will be checking in with occasional updates from NFR.
Ain’t It Pretty?
Here's a look at the plaque that will be presented to the best dressed barrel racer at the WNFR, along with $5000. You can see a complete photo display at the new NFR Experience if you're in Vegas for Cowboy Christmas. While you're there, please stop by the Cowboys & Indians booth (#1047) and say hello! Fans can vote for the best dressed barrel racer each night at wpra.com
Toast of the Town
Trevor Brazile has been quite busy this week in Las Vegas. In addition to clinching a record shattering 10th All Around Championship with the NFR week just half over, he and his wife Shada jumped in a limo the minute he finished in the team roping and headed to the Pacquiao vs. Marquez fight on Saturday night. On Monday, they were spotted at the American Country Awards, where Trevor presented an award. All this, and he's continuously being followed by a camera crew for his GAC TV show Relentless, Being Trevor Brazile, signing autographs, and making appearances for sponsors. Oh, yeah, he still wants to win another world championship in Team Roping.
