'The Virginian' Rides Again

If David Hofstede’s article about the 50th anniversary of The Virginian left you with a hankering to watch some episodes of that classic TV western – we’ve got some great news for you, pardners. Cynopsis.com reports that the Inspiration Network (INSP) has signed a multi-year deal for exclusive basic cable rights to the enduringly popular series starring James Drury and Doug McClure. INSP will launch The Virginian with a day-long marathon set to kick off at 1 pm ET Sept. 22, and continue to air episodes on a regular basis during the network’s Monday-Friday entertainment block.
