Alan Jackson celebrates 25 years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
To celebrate his 25 years as a member of the Grand Ole Opry and a career that has spanned decades, Alan Jackson singing his hit song “Remember When” makes our Opry performance of the week.
Jackson was inducted into the Opry on June 7, 1991, fulfilling his lifelong dream of joining country music icons Hank Williams and Merle Haggard as a member of the nationally renowned musical establishment. With 15 studio albums (the most recent being Angels and Alcohol released last year) and 35 No. 1 hits, Jackson’s music continues to transcend time and influence country music today.
Jackson is currently on tour promoting Angels and Alcohol. Catch his next live performance September 17 at Puyallup Fairgrounds at the Washington State Fair in Puyallup, Washington.
